The Actions aim to the promotion of the interaction between art and public sphere in order to stimulate spaces of sharing, a wider consciousness about common good and the overtaking of an idea of “territory” based on the definition of a deeply closed geographical and cultural limits, in contraddiction with the need of contemporary society of relation with similar as like as different cultural contexts of the world.
The Actions foresee different outcomes and operative modalities based on the specificities of the contexts in which they are developed, like residency programs, workshops and site specific productions.
The Actions run in different places is Southern Italy and abroad, with particular attention to the Mediterranean cultural basin.
They focuse on creative processes and on direct relation with the space and its inhabitants, its dynamics, biodiversity and peculiarities, in referrement to the current cultural transformation and social global requests.
The development of the actions of Archiviazioni foresees the comparizon and the laboratorial approach through individual/collective elaboration of issues among artists, curators, thinkers, scholars and subjects from public and private field, the citizens and the local production, so that the artistic research can be a tool of activation of cultural, educational and social processes on the territory, of a social fabric always more responsive and proactive.
